Maybelline recently celebrated their 100 years in the beauty industry for which I was one of the few bloggers chosen to represent a beauty look from a specific era, luckily I got the 1920’s.

For my look, my hair and makeup was done by the amazing team at Nabila’s Salon, who did a light smokey eye and dark maroon lips, whilst my hair were done half up with a middle part and loose curls at the bottom. And I wore this beautiful black jersey dress by Natasha Kamal (a new favourite after her impressive show at PSFW15) with applique work at the back Since EVERYONE expected me to go for a flapper look, I instead decided to take inspiration from the more sophisticated looks of the twenties, by keeping my accessories to a minimal and only in black and gold, so as to really let the details of my dress and makeup stand out. Here’s how everything turned out:
